What is Star Summit?

The sixth annual Shaping Teachers Across the Region Summit is coming to Southwest Missouri this Fall. On November 6, 2018, teachers and staff from Nixa, Ozark, Republic, and Willard School Districts will collaborate for an educational conference. The day will start with participants splitting into two groups, traveling either to Republic High School or Willard High School to attend breakout and deep dive sessions. After a break for lunch, all the districts will attend a keynote by Heidi Hayes Jacobs, at James River Church at 6100 N 19th Street in Ozark. 
  • REPUBLIC - 6th - 12th Grade, 6-12 Fine Arts, 6-12 Librarians, 6-12 Counselors, K-12 Health/PE, ROTC, 6-12 Computers, 6-12 SPED, 6-12 Gifted, Foreign Language, 7-12 CTE - Career Technical Education (FACS, Vocational Business, Vo-Ag, Industrial Tech, Marketing, Building Trades)
  • WILLARD - PreK - 5th Grade, K-5 Fine Arts, K-5 Librarians, K-5 SPED, OT/PT and SLPs, K-5 Counselors, Reading Recovery, K-5 Gifted, K-5 Computers, Early Childhood, K-12 ELL​
